Review of 2233: Evil AI

We were back in NOVA the weekend of Feb. 19 and went to Bonds Escape Room with Becca’s dad, mom, and grandma.  We played 2233: Evil AI.  The premise is that your team is a time-traveling resistance group and the AI system has gone haywire.  The team must stop A.L.I.S.O.N. from becoming too self aware and taking over.

Anna, our game master, was awesome.  We loved the use of blacklight, screens/computers and the walls in this escape room.  The room itself was a very cool concept, but we had a little trouble following some of the clues sometimes.  We used a total of 3 hints in order to escape.

The only thing that wasn’t so great about the facility was that it was not very handicap accessible.  We had to walk down a few flights of stairs which was fine for the majority of us, but Becca’s grandma needed some extra time to take it easy on the stairs.
