Review of Face Off

This was our third escape room in one weekend!  Face Off is offered at Escape This Frederick.  There are actually two identical rooms for this game.  Both teams are trainees at the FBI academy and it's the final test.  The teams must solve a murder and beat the other team to earn your spot in the FBI.

This was a super fun game!  Katey's family joined us for this game so we could do the two rooms.  Not only was it a race against the clock, but a tight race against the other team.  Our game master told us after we finished that both teams were neck and neck pretty much the entire time.  We split our teams by guys and girls.  The guys ended up winning with 36 seconds left on the clock.  Both teams found the ending puzzles to be a pretty complicated.  You need a lot of patience to get through the last few puzzles and it doesn't help when the clock is really counting down.

We really enjoyed this room and recommend it for anyone who is looking for a chance to compete!  There is also a single version of the room called Crime Scene for any smaller groups or groups who aren't looking for competition.
