Review of Toxic Attack

Well... it finally happened... we didn't make it out of this one...

Toxic Attack is where "a bomb has been planted in your Top Secret Government lab! Beat the clock to save yourself and all humankind from highly contagious viruses."  This is a 75 minute room and your team will be separated into two adjoining rooms.

We didn't find the puzzles to be super difficult, but they did not connect easily.  It felt like the lab side had more puzzles than the bomb side.  The puzzles on the lab side were a bit more difficult than the ones on the bomb side.  The bomb techs ended up sitting around waiting for the lab techs to finish something so we could share information.  Bomb techs even tried to help the lab techs with puzzles through the door and it was still difficult to connect them.

If you're planning on playing this room, don't be afraid to try and open things.  We definitely missed opening something because of misleading information in the beginning and our game master had to give us a helpful nudge.  This room is full of red herrings and we suggest playing in a bigger group.

Our ratings aren't low because we're salty about not getting out, but this was not our best experience in a room.
