Review of Unexplained Files
First day of the new year and what better way to spend it than with friends and an escape room?! We headed to Crack the Code in Staunton to try The Unexplained Files. In this room, you're tasked with figuring out what happened to FBI agent Jonathan A. Nimh. Agent Nimh has been missing for a week and your team has been granted access to all his case files and personal artifacts.
We had a really good time in this room and loved being able to play with our friends Amy and Jason. The room was clever and we thought that the clues were fun. This was a much better experience than our first time at Crack the Code. We would say that this is not a beginner friendly room. Amy and Jason had limited escape room experiences before this one, and they managed to solve quite a few puzzles, but we are all used to thinking about these kinds of clues. The success rate is only 32% and as you can see in our picture below, we have the fastest escape time in the past 30 days.
Overall, this room was fun and we recommend it for experienced players!
