Review of MARITIME MUTINY

While visiting Becca's family in Chantilly, we decided to play Maritime Mutiny at Escape Room Herndon.  Our goal in this room was to break into Captain Ravensbeard's office and reclaim our rightful share of the plunder.

We thoroughly enjoyed this room!  First, we were met by very friendly staff as we walked into the location.  Our game master lead us to our room and explained our goal.  When you walk into the room, you feel like you are on the inside of a pirate ship.  There are portholes where you can look out and see the ocean and the details were incredible.  The room itself was not too difficult to figure out, but the bonus puzzles were pretty hard.  We spent the remainder of our 20 minutes trying to figure out the bonus puzzles.  One of the puzzles was pretty easy to figure out, but the others were very difficult.  We asked for a hint on one of the bonus puzzles, but had 3 minutes taken off the timer.  With that hint we were able to solve 2 of the bonus puzzles before the timer hit 0.

Even though we managed to escape the room, we were a little bummed that we didn't solve the bonus puzzles to get a really cool golden trophy.  We did get a really cute pin!
