Review of Special Ops: Mysterious Market

Becca's parents graciously let us borrow their van so we could drive to Disney at the end of September, so we took a trip to pick it up from them and did an escape room in the process!  We had purchased a voucher for The Escape Game after our last adventure there in Georgetown and thought this would be a good time to use it.  We decided to go to the DC location and try out Special Ops: The Mysterious Market.  Your goal is to uncover the truth.  You and your team are special ops agents.  A routine search of a spice market leads to an unexpected discovery.  Your team now has to combat an international crisis that threatens the state of the world as we know it.

This room was so much fun!  This was our first time doing an escape room with people we didn't know.  Jessica and Marcus had no problem jumping in and working with us.  We really enjoyed playing with them!  Our only complaint was that as you watch videos in the room, the timer keeps going.  Each video was about a minute and you have to watch them and pay attention so you don't miss anything.  This game also had a really cool twist in it that we didn't see coming.  

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and can't wait to try more rooms!
